Rules of Entry

• Book and deposit your international holiday between 19 January and 28 February 2025 and you go into the draw to win a $10,000 Qantas travel voucher.
• The travel voucher is to be used on Qantas marketed and operated services only (not codeshare flights).
• The value of $10,000 can be used for a maximum of 2 individual Qantas bookings only, bookings will be designated by a single Qantas booking reservation/confirmation number. The prize must be booked and ticketed on or before 31 December 2025 for travel to be completed by 31 December 2026. No extensions are possible.
• Qantas Frequent Points can be attributed to the booking.
• If the full amount is not utilised in the maximum 2 booking limit any remaining dollar balance will be forfeited.
• Each traveller 18 years and over in a booking will receive an entry per holiday booked.
• If you book and/or deposit on the day of the Holiday and Cruise Expo on Sunday 19 January 2025 each traveller will receive double the entries (eg: 2 entries per person booked and deposited)
• The draw will take place on Wednesday 5 March 2025.
• It will be a random draw overseen by two employees of Helloworld Hunter Travel Group as well as the authorised representative and a third individual not employed by Helloworld Travel Hunter Travel Group using Trade Promotions & Lotteries Pty Ltd, TPAL Electronic Random Draw System which is a fair & unbiased computerised draw system that government approved & certified in Australia.
• To be eligible the person must have a deposited international booking held with Helloworld Travel Hunter Travel Group on the day of the draw.
• The winner will be notified on Wednesday 05 March 2025 via phone, email, and a notice will be published in the Newcastle Herald on Saturday 8 March 2025.
• If the winner cancels their deposited international holiday after the Qantas travel voucher has been awarded, Helloworld Travel Hunter Travel Group is not required to refund any deposit or booking fees charged which varies by supplier and will be confirmed at the time the booking is deposited.
• The prize is non transferrable.
• The prize has no redeemable cash value.
• Is subject to availability at the time of booking.
• The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize. If the prize is not utilised as stated it will be forfeited.
• The prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. The prize does not include travel insurance, passports, spending money, visas, meals, transfers, ground transportation, accommodation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner. Qantas makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
• The prize travel is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage.
• Hunter Travel Group Pty Ltd & Qantas Airways Limited, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.
• The exclusion of liability above does not apply to limit or exclude liability:
  a) for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by Qantas Airways Limited in the ordinary course of business. To remove doubt: third party goods or services, which other than in connection with this promotion, are in the normal course of business supplied by a third party unrelated to the Promotion Parties, are not supplied by the Qantas Airways Limited in the ordinary course of business; and the Promoter’s Conditions of Carriage and general booking conditions (and any exclusions contained therein) apply despite any statement to the contrary in these terms and conditions; or
  b) to the extent it is not permissible at law to limit or exclude liability in the manner contemplated in that clause (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
• Hunter Travel Group Pty Ltd & Qantas Airways Ltd strongly suggest the travelling party take travel insurance coverage when using the prize.
• Please allow a minimum booking period of thirty (30) days prior to departure date.
• In the event of a dispute this will be facilitated initially by the Group GM of Helloworld Travel Hunter Travel Group and if not resolved within a 30-day period an independent arbitrator will be appointed.

Prize winner will be drawn on Monday 20Jan25 at 16:30 and notified by phone. Winers first name may be used in social media posts. Winners’ names and choice of tour must be made to HTG no later than Thursday 30Jan25. Travel should be completed by 31Dec25. Prize includes accommodation, meals and sightseeing as outlined in the tour itinerary. Optional on-tour activities may be offered at additional cost locally. Excludes international airfares. Travel Insurance is highly recommended and at additional cost. A quote will be provided to the winners. A valid passport is required for all travellers. Visa requirement and fees will be discussed at the time of booking. Should the value of the tour for fall below $2,500 per person ($5,000 total) the remaining value will be forfeited. Should the winner choose a tour over $2,500 per person ($5,000 total) the difference will be payable by the winner. The tour value is not refundable, transferable and has no cash value.
